Major Recruitment are recruiting an Office Administrator to join a small, friendly team within a busy distribution/manufacturing environment.
This is a varied role where you will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the office, providing excellent customer service and ensuring orders and deliveries are processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering the sales line and handling general customer enquiries
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Chasing and coordinating deliveries
- Liaising with the warehouse and external carriers
- Taking customer payments over the telephone
- Providing updates to customers regarding orders and deliveries
- General office administration and support
- Working as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
Previous office administration experience is required, with experience within the manufacturing or distribution sectors being particularly advantageous.
You will need to be comfortable working in a busy environment, managing multiple tasks and providing a professional and helpful service to customers.
Key Information
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- 30 minute lunch break
- 20 days’ holiday plus statutory bank holidays
