Responsibilities:-

  • Operate all aspects of Purchase Ledger
  • General administration
  • Handling the reconciliation of cash transactions

Working hours 6pm – 6am rotating weeks (week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday & week 2 Wednesday and Thursday)

Duties for electrical engineer:

  • Carry out Electrical, electronic, mechanical repairs and preventative planned maintenance of all plant including extrusion, rewind and assembly equipment to ensure continued efficient operation.

Quality Assurance Inspector

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.

Working hours 9.30am – 1.30pm – Monday to Friday

Pay rate – £10.25ph

Duties for Quality Assurance Inspector:

  1. Carry out patrol inspection process checks within the production department, e.g. check length, width, gauge, traceability stamps / markings, production paperwork, etc.
  2. Make effective decisions regarding the acceptability of product to specifications, standards, acceptable criteria and customer specific requirements.
  3. Inspect finished goods e.g. for condition of packing, quality of rewind.
  4. Check, process and pack sample products for orders & stock.
  5. Assist with goods-in checks, especially of factored goods.
  6. Handle information requests from other departments and customers, e.g. specifications or tracing of information on defects.
  7. Process defect materials from production, adjust stock levels and provide information on reject stock to suppliers as required.
  8. Carry out control of sharps, and glass and brittle plastic audits.
  9. Complete and maintain required documentation for all activities and keep all relevant departments informed of outcome of inspections/checks. Also, carry out filing and archiving of production and compliance department paperwork.
  10. Follow company policies and procedures, i.e. Health & Safety, Hygiene, and ISO9001.
  11. Contribute to keep all areas of site clean, e.g. your own work area, Production area, canteen.
  12. Carry out any reasonable task requested by management.
  13. Carry out training of staff (e.g. red hatters, rework staff, etc)
  14. Assist in quality related projects.
  15. Participate in evaluating trial materials and completing trial documentation.
  16. Carry out and record internal calibration requirements.
  17. Prepare reports on quality matters to managers and others as required.

Working hours are Mon- Thurs 6.30am – 4.30pm

Responsibilities of the role TIG and MIG Welder :

  • Ensure all units during the manufacturing process are welded and fabricated to the standards set by the Company.
  • To ensure production schedules are adhered to and completed within the agreed times.
  • Produce all associated documentation to Company standards.
  • Liaise with Manufacturing Manager in order to highlight any issues identified that could cause problems to the assembly and testing
  • Record weld and quality data to the satisfaction of the Manufacturing Manager.

Experience required TIG and MIG Welder:

  • 3-5 years minimum welding and fabricating experience.

  • Experience in TIG & MIG Welding is essential.
  • Must be conversant with most typical machinery associated with the role of Welder Fabricator.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail.
