Class 1 – AM &PM shifts

Major Recruitment are looking for Class 1 drivers to cover shifts for our Nationwide Clients site based in Chesterfield

All work is Curtainsider, Trunking with an average 10 to 12 hour shift

There is no handball involved with plenty of shifts to cover !

Monday to Friday only

AM – £17paye, PM – £17.50paye with accrued holiday & paid weekly

6am- 8am & 1400 – 1600 starts times

You must have held your Class 1 for at least 12 month & have a valid cpc & digi card with no more than 6 speeding points on your licence due to insurance

Class 2 Temp to Perm Days

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver in the Purfleet area.

Duties & Requirements:

  • Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday when required
  • 6am starts
  • 9-12 hour shifts
  • Accrued holiday weekly while on agency
  • Up to 4 drops a day
  • Use of an electric pump truck
  • London deliveries
  • Daily Vehicle check
  • Checking safety of loads
  • Good communication with transport team and customers
  • Completion of necessary paperwork
  • Must have held Class 2 licence for over 12 months
  • Must have a minimum of 3 months recent Class 2 driving experience

Must have held your class 1 for at least 12 mths, hold a valid cpc & digi card with no more than 6 points (sp only) due to insurance purposes

22:00 start Sunday to Thursday shift

2 drops per shift delivering glass – Unmanned sites

You will be kept on the same run & full training given due to the nature of the deliveries

It is preffered you have a Moffet but the client is willing to provide full training to the right candidate

We are currently looking for experienced Class 2 Multi Drop Drivers

07:00 AM, Monday to Friday. 9-11 hour shifts.

No handball involved.
10-20 drops per day across 2 routes
Immediate starts and ongoing work

Minimum 12 months Class 2 with no more than 6 points on licence.
Previous Class 2 driving experience essential
Good verbal and written communication between transport team and customers.

Class 2 Tipper Driver

Class 2 Tipper Driver – Knottingley

We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join a reputable company in Knottingley.

Position Overview:

  • Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (PAYE – plus holiday accrual)
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Start Times: Between 05:30 and 06:30

Key Duties:

  • Safely operate a manual Class 2 Tipper vehicle
  • Transporting materials between sites.
  • Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience driving manual HGVs is required
  • Experience driving tipper vehicles is not essential
