Class 2 Driver

We’re currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to carry out home deliveries of furniture, working out of a clients site in Sheffield. This ongoing position offers the potential for a permanent role in the future.

PAYE Pay Rate for the Class 2 Driver:

£13.52 per hour

Responsibilities for the Class 2 Driver:

Driving a mixture of Class 2 and 7.5T vehicles
Completing home deliveries of furniture (15-30 drops per day, depending on location of deliveries)
Working as a team with a drivers mate to carry out the deliveries
Logging all deliveries on a mobile POD device

Hours for the Class 2 Driver:

Start times are approximately 04:30
A mixture of the below shift patterns on a rolling rota:

Monday to Thursday
Wednesday to Saturday
Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday

Requirements for the Class 2 Driver:

Valid Class 2 (C) Licence
Up to date CPC and Digi Card
Minimum 1 year of driving experience on a professional basis
Ability to use a mobile POD device
Completion of a 3 day paid induction

Drivers Wanted!

Major Logistics are currently recruiting for drivers to work on an auction site in Eggborough (DN14).

Our client is a market leader in the sale of commercial, construction and agricultural equipment.

This position is working 3 days every 6 weeks (the next dates are 24th to 26th April)

Drivers will be required to drive a variety of vehicles during the auction (trucks, tractors, FLT & diggers).

No previous experience is needed as training will be provided on all equipment prior to moving them.

Duties:

Driving vehicles through the auction
Parking vehicles in bays
Reporting faults & non-starting vehicles
Handling keys

Hours:

Any days between Wednesday to Friday, 0730 starts (do not have to be available for all three shifts)
8-14 hour days (varies depending on volume and your availability)

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence

Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour

Shifts for the Class 1 Container Driver:

Responsibilities for the Class 2 Drivers:

Driving Class 2 vehicles
Navigating through narrow roads
Working within a team, alongside loaders

Hours of work for the Class 2 Drivers:

Tuesday to Friday
Standard hours approximately 06:45-16:15
Overtime may be required

Requirements for the Class 2 Drivers:

Valid Class 2 Licence
Indate CPC & Digi Card
Experience is prefers but new passers will be considered
Completion of a 2 day paid induction and assessment on site

PAYE Pay Rate for the Class 2 Drivers:

Class 2 Driver

Major Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 2 drivers to work for a well established manufacturing and distribution company, based in the Leeds area.

Pay Rate for the Class 2 Driver:

£14.00 per hour PAYE

Duties of the Class 2 Driver:

Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles

Delivering palletised goods, hand balling smaller packaged goods.

Delivering between 8-18 drops per day, depending on the clients requirements and area you are delivering to

Hours of the Class 2 Drivers:

The client usually requires cover 3-4 days per week, between Monday to Friday. Start times will vary but usually between 05:30-07:30.

Requirements:

Must have current HGV Class 2 (C) Licence

Valid CPC and Digi Card
