HR Administrator

As HR Administration Specialist, you are at the heart of our HR team, ensuring seamless and efficient HR processes, keeping us aligned and compliant as a function.

The role is responsible for managing employee records, data, and documentation, managing the administration of onboarding and offboarding processes, and supporting the HR team with administrative tasks. With your keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and a drive to continuously improve the way we do things, The HR Administration Specialist helps to create a smooth and positive experience for all employees.

What you will be responsible for

  • Working with the HR team to ensure that all administration and documentation is managed with accuracy, efficiency, consistency and in a timely manner, contributing to a positive employee experience.
  • Managing the onboarding process across all UK business areas, including creating job requistions, generating offers and contracts, managing the offer and onboarding process, and communicating new starter requirements to the relevant functions.
  • Managing the HR Information Systems (Workday and Tensor), ensuring they are kept up to date and being used effectively.
  • Liaising with internal and external departments
  • Generating letters and communications across all HR matters, including absence, maternity / paternity, disciplinary, employment changes, leavers, salary and bonus changes; updating the system and sending the relevant notifications.
  • Generating reports to support HR and business processes, including absence reporting and starters / leavers for Benefits.
  • Working as part of a close-knit HR team to share best practice, utilise strengths to support and develop colleagues, and help out where required, for e.g. in supporting ER cases, covering holidays etc.
  • Maintaining a focus on continuous self-improvement and skill development.
  • Managing own workload and priorities with support from the wider team.

Your Background

Essential

  • Experience within a similar role, working as part of an HR function.
  • Experience working with HR Information Systems.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude.

Desirable

Relevant professional qualification (CIPD level 3 or 5)

Experience working with Workday and / or Tensor

Experience within a Manufacturing (or similar) business
