Installation Pipefitter

A time-served Pipefitter is needed to join an Installation and Service team to work on various sites throughout the UK

As an Installation Technician you will travel to customer sites nationwide and carry out the commissioning, service, maintenance and repair of the company’s range of equipment including process pipework and cabling

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be flexible with staying away from home during the working week. All accommodation is provided by the company along with daily allowances when away

The successful candidate will have experience as a Pipefitter with the ability to carry out pipe and cable tray work. You will need to be able to work at height and have a full clean driving licence

Senior Project Engineer

A Senior Project Engineer is sought by an Engineering company to join their successful team

You will be responsible for all aspects of construction projects on process and manufacturing facilities. The company acts a Principal Contractor and Principal Designer and you will identify and appoint contractors to carry out varying packages of work, liaising with various departments, technical resources, and the local authority to ensure project works are undertaken and completed in accordance with project specifications, scope and approved plans. You will oversee groundworks and site prep to undertake, and establish construction area.

The successful candidate will need a Mechanical Engineering or Construction qualification and experience of working on complex engineering projects. Experience of managing contractors and suppliers is essential as are good commercial and cost management skills

Maintenance Fitter

What’s on offer for the Maintenance Fitter:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

The Maintenance Fitter role will be to cover either an AM (6am-2pm) or PM (2pm-10pm) shift Monday to Friday

The maintenance Fitter’s Primary responsibility is to look after PPM’s and react in a timely manner to breakdowns.

Main Duties:

  • Organising PPM’s on Welding tables / CNC / Overhead Cranes
  • React to breakdowns
  • Site Mainteenance
  • Record all maintenance and breakdowns
  • Advise stores if parts are getting low
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and policy
  • Complete necessary daily documents

Role Requirements:

  • Must be Time Served Fitter
  • Experience with Hydraulic and pneumatics
  • Excellent communication
  • Good Engineering Background
  • Willing to learn
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to inspect own work
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Flexibility with regards to break down and planned maintenance
