Everyone at Major is still so proud of our addition to this year’s Insider Magazine’s Growth 100 list. Whilst still celebrating this achievement, Major Recruitment has also made Kirklees Top 100 companies 2020.
Kirklees Top 100
The brand-new initiative hopes to highlight the successful and thriving organisations within the Kirklees area each year. The hope is that it will help to strengthen the bonds within the community – bringing local organisations together – which in these uncertain times, we believe is a fantastic idea.
Top 100 is a joint venture between the University of Huddersfield, The Huddersfield Examiner and 3M Buckley Innovation Centre. Their intention is to raise the profile of Kirklees businesses and the district itself. That of fantastic destination for investment, business start-up potential and growth.
The list was generated in a similar way to that of the York Top 100 model created by Make it York in association with the York Business School. It uses a combination of organisations turnover, profit, employee numbers and growth. Major Recruitment have landed on this auspicious list, as our head office is based in Huddersfield town centre.
We are climbing the league tables
We have managed to land ourselves mid-table on this very prestigious Top 100, we are at a comfortable 55th place. However, we have our eyes set on a much higher placing next year. With our consistent growth and success during this year, we are confident that we will!
Celebrations will be muted thanks to COVID, but it is safe to say – once Major is allowed to celebrate all it has achieved over the last year properly. It is going to be a very BIG NIGHT!
