Every company dreams of their business achieving success, with results and figures being the best measurements. However, one unmistakeable milestone is finding your company’s name on a list of successful companies. This doesn’t make or break you, but it does validate the hard work everyone has put in to arrive at that point. This is why we always love the announcement of the Insider Growth 100. Major has placed on the Insider Magazine Growth 100 list since 2020 and we have managed to climb up the table every year from then (and we’ve done it again!)
August’s Insider Growth 100 placing
Back in 2020; remember that year, the one where we couldn’t do anything! We were introduced to the Growth 100 by a call from Insider telling us we had landed ourselves on the list at 91st. In 2021 we leaped up to 66th place and we’ve continued to climb…
We are now 47th, jumping above the halfway mark and we’re very proud of it! With a compound annual growth rate of 25.4% over the last 4 years, and an end of year turnover of £48.1 million we blew our previous years results out of the water.
As ‘growth’ is one of our favourite words, we love this list and we’re hoping to climb even more next year!
Are you new to the Growth 100?
If you’ve never heard of the Insider Growth 100, you’re probably thinking “Aahhh well done Major, but I have no clue what this is?!” So let us tell you, the list of 100 companies is compiled each year by Insider Magazine.
How do they do it you ask? Well, it takes a lot of researchers to search for every company with at least 1 million pound turnover. They then measure those companies growth of the previous 4 years. If the company fails to have consistent growth year on year, they’re out! Using the information gathered for the companies left, they can compile the top 100 fastest growing companies.
The Growth 100 list isn’t just about turnover, or if they’ve had one fantastic year. It is more about consistency of success and continuous growth, this is why it means so much to us to be included. A company can easily go from zero to hero with one good year, but then slip away the year after. This award highlights those who have succeeded, and kept succeeding! Major Recruitment is constantly growing and every year’s returns outweigh the last, we could not ask for more than this.

Throughout the year we have been making changes across the company, whether that be new systems, adding new sectors, teams and individuals.
