K&D are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy team in Dagenham. If you thrive in a dynamic setting, have a keen eye for detail, and aren’t afraid of some heavy lifting, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Keeping the yard and warehouse safe, organised, and running smoothly
Managing storage to ensure everything is accessible
Fleeting & barcoding products
Ensuring zero picking errors – accuracy is key!
Warehouse operations including:

  • Picking items for orders
  • Moving stock within the warehouse
  • Scanning products for loading/unloading
  • Handling usage, damage, and loss charges
  • Processing Goods In
  • Stock takes & cycle counts
  • Investigations & reconciliations
  • Quality checks to ensure top standards

What We’re Looking For:

Warehouse experience handling heavy goods – Must have
Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach Truck) – Essential
Experience with tools & equipment/hire desk – Big bonus!
Knowledge of equipment hire – Advantageous
Full UK driving licence – Preferred
Super organised, detail-focused, and a great communicator
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
A friendly, proactive, and can-do attitude

Do you hold a full, clean 3.5-tonne licence?
Are you reliable, customer-focused, and confident handling heavy, high-value items?

We’re looking for a motivated Delivery Driver to join our client’s team in Feltham.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering goods to businesses in and around Feltham

  • Completing 8-12 deliveries per day safely and on time

  • Providing excellent customer service at every drop

  • Ensuring all items are handled with care and delivered to the highest standards

Role details:

Overview
* Opportunity to register and lead two brand-new children’s homes (3-bed & 4-bed) supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
* Key role in service setup, registration, and establishing high-quality care provision in line with Ofsted standards
* Progression opportunity to oversee dual homes with increased salary and responsibility

Salary & Package
* Starting salary from £54,000 (during registration of one home)
* Increasing up to £75,000 when managing two homes
* Structured salary scale based on experience and qualifications

Key Requirements
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (essential)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience at supervisory level within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Quality Standards, and safeguarding
* Experience in home registration, or readiness to lead a new service through registration (desirable)
* Full UK Driving Licence (strongly preferred)

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the registration of new children’s homes with Ofsted
* Develop policies, procedures, and care frameworks aligned with regulatory standards
* Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing staff team
* Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care delivery, and compliance
* Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities and external professionals
* Oversee care planning, risk management, and outcomes for young people
* Drive continuous improvement and achieve positive Ofsted outcomes
