Warehouse Operative

Major Recruitment are working exclusively with our distribution client who are looking to recruit for Warehouse Operatives on a Temporary to Permanent basis. Immediate starts are available.

Role:- Warehouse Operative

Location:- Doncaster (Iport)

Pay Rate:- £10.05 per hour.

Hours Of Work:- Afters 2pm – 10pm (37.5 hours per Week) Monday to Friday with over time paid at time and a half

Role Type:- Temporary to Permanent

Duties will include but aren’t limited to:-

  • Dealing with deliveries of stock.
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is completed when stock is delivered or on collection of orders.
  • Picking of customer orders ensuring accuracy and care
  • Stock control
  • Liaising between the Distribution admin team and other Yard Operatives
  • Packing / re-packing products

Order Picker Packer (Nights)

Major Recruitment are currently seeking warehouse operatives/order pickers for our client in the Barnsley area

The role will include

What will you be responsible for as a Warehouse operative?

  • Order picking using pick sheets
  • Fast and Accurate picking of stock to be delivered to the stores
  • Support our supply chain by processing container deliveries
  • Carry out general day to day cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse
  • Follow all health and safety requirements on site


  • Earn up to £11.50 with picking bonus

The hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating with the opportunity of going permanent after 12 weeks and being put through FLT Reach and Counterbalance training

  • Posses strong organizational skills

Our client an Independent Service and Mot centre is looking looking for a Assistant manager for their Rotherham site.

Working in conjunction with the centre manager qualified motor trade technicians and the area manager to achieve targets and excel in customer service.

You will maintain the workflow through the business to maximise the workshop and keep yourself and the technician team busy.

You will be someone who can stand in for the centre manager in their absence. You will still be working in the workshop servicing and carrying out Mot’s vehicles if you have a live mot card

The business is open 6 days a week and the whole team works on a rota basis including Saturdays. Working a 5 day week having a day off in the week if a Saturday is worked. NO SUNDAYS

  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • Knowledge of other manufacturing machines such as CNC press brakes, water cutting machines, and plasma cutting machines would be advantageous.
