As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, receiving and booking in deliveries, replenishing stock, and loading and unloading vehicles. You will also complete warehouse paperwork, update stock information on internal systems, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organised workplace.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You’ll be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team and be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to support warehouse administration.

Factory Operative

Parts Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and organised Parts Assistant to join a well-established and prestigious automotive retailer based in the Doncaster area. Due to continued business growth, the company is expanding its existing team and is looking for a motivated individual to support the efficient operation of the parts department.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the correct parts, materials and consumables are available to support workshop operations and customer requirements. You will be responsible for accurately identifying, ordering, receiving and managing vehicle parts, while maintaining excellent stock control and administrative standards.

Working closely with technicians, inspection teams and internal departments, you will assist with analysing vehicle requirements, sourcing parts, preparing estimates and ensuring all parts processes are completed accurately and efficiently. Major Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to work for a well established building materials supplier based in the Rotherham S63 area.

Our client is a leading supplier of Insulation, construction products and building materials and delivers to a mixture of building sites, RDC’s and stores and looking for experienced Class 2 drivers for Monday to Friday shifts.

General start times are 05:00-06:00 and generally 8-12 hours shifts

PAYE Pay Rate:

£14.50 per hour (PAYE) plus holiday accrual

Duties:

Driving Class 2 vehicles

1-8 drops per days, a mixture of both delivering and collecting

Mainly palletised deliveries, using the tail lift and pallet truck

Hours:

Working between Monday to Friday

Start times between 0500-0600, on average 8-12 hours per day

Requirements:

Must have current Class 2 (C) Licence

Valid CPC and Digi Card

Electrical Field Service Engineer

An Electrical Field Service Engineer is needed to install, service, test, and commission electrical equipment on sites across North West England

Based remotely you will carry out routine service work on various motors and drives, with installation and refitting of new for old. Responsive breakdown callouts are also required from engineers on a rota basis. Assist with the Hire business with regards to installations and commissioning on site and ongoing operation of installed equipment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service Existing Customers Drives.
  • Assist in installations of MCC’s, New for Old Variable Speed Drivees and Soft starters.
  • Attend breakdowns to customers sites for reactive maintenance.
  • Test and Commission Products offered by the company.
  • Mark up drawings with modifications.

  • Liaise with customers on site regarding technical and progress work.
  • You will be required to operate within a rolling rate basis for 24/7 cover.

YOUR SKILLS

The ideal candidate will be a time-served Electrical Technician with a background in either Field Service, Electrical Installation, Site Services or Electrical Contracting. You will need to be 18th Edition qualified with a current JIB or CSCS card and a good working knowledge of 240 – 690 LV, single and 3 phase systems etc. Experience of PLCs would be an advantage. You will also need a good level of IT proficiency. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is a full UK Driving Licence
