About You

Experience may also include plant, power tools, powered access, generators, pumps, lifting equipment, or similar mechanical environments.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, this senior leadership role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across Design, Project Management, Site Operations and Health & Safety, while maintaining full commercial and contractual control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage operational teams across design, project delivery and site management

An established and growing specialist in commercial glazing, windows, doors, and façade systems is seeking a Technical Order Processing Co-ordinator to join its operations team at its High Wycombe office.

Due to continued expansion, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual with experience in aluminium systems and CAD to contribute to the successful delivery of complex commercial projects.

The Role
Working closely with internal teams including Surveyors, Project Managers, Technical Specialists, Procurement, and Manufacturing, you will play a key role in ensuring that approved technical information is accurately translated into production-ready documentation.

You will be responsible for converting survey and design data into manufacturing orders and production packs, producing detailed schedules for frames, glazing, panels, and hardware, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. The role also involves using AutoCAD to amend and support technical information, extracting accurate dimensional data from approved drawings, and maintaining strict document control to ensure all revisions are up to date. In addition, you will support procurement through precise material take-offs, manage and upload project documentation systems, liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project progression, and ensure that all manufacturing information is released in line with internal procedures.

About You

Essential:

  • Background within aluminium windows, doors, or façade systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience producing manufacturing or technical processing information

Working as part of a supportive and flexible projects team your main responsibilities will be i focused around delivering projects across the South of England

Your main responsibilities will involve commercial delivery, design management, scheduling and resource / site management. Key tasks will include: –

  • Obtaining quotes from supply chain and improve on quotations where possible with discount or competitive tender and organise and order all materials required for the project.
  • Liaise with suppliers regularly to ensure delivery dates are achieved.
  • Schedule all labour for projects – covering all structural, electrical, cleaning and commissioning tasks.
  • Manage design process communication – obtain drawings from client.
  • Organise ‘as-built” drawings for end of project and issue to client with O&M
  • Compile project schedule in MS Project and issue weekly alongside reports
  • Manage and supervise sub-contracted resource to meet agreed timelines and ensure any variations, if required, are passed directly on to client.
  • Manage suppliers to ensure goods are delivered on time and to agreed quality standard.
  • Manage complaints if necessary.
  • Responsibility for site Health & Safety and CDM compliance
  • Management of site to include waste management, hire equipment, materials storage, tool storage and charging, site welfare, parking and signing-in process.
  • Organise RAMS from sub-contracted labour and suppliers
  • Conduct monthly site walkaround and agree invoice schedule with client.

YOUR SKILLS

The successful candidate will need a proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects within Cleanrooms, building services, M&E based construction projects (preferably of over £1M in value) and of delivering multiple projects at one time and managing own workflow. You will need to be able to read and correctly interpret CAD drawings, Bills of Quantities / Materials and be able to manage staff and subcontractors to ensure time and budget are met. You will need to be proficient with MS Project / Office and have excellent communication skills

An Engineering qualification and experience of AutoCAD or Revit would be an advantage

This is a fully remote role with one day in the office, 2/3 days on site and 1/2 days working from home. Salary to £80,000 p/a + car allowance with bonuses and benefits (depending on experience and qualifications)
