  • Developing and implementing category strategies across direct spend areas.
  • Leading major sourcing projects, tenders and supplier negotiations.

  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, Technical and Finance functions.
  • Managing strategic supplier relationships and mitigating supply chain risk.
  • Supporting procurement transformation and category development initiatives.
  • Monitoring market trends, legislation and sustainability requirements impacting procurement decisions.
  • Coaching and influencing colleagues across the procurement function.
  • Contributing to a growing global procurement agenda.

Graduate Account Executive

  • Manage day to day tasks and administration with regards to promotional and core business, to ensure that the systems and process are maintained:
    • Assisting the Commercial Managers in the promotional planning process within specified margin and budget parameters.
    • Ensure pricing is correct on SAP and Customer system
    • New Line Forms
    • Forecasting/Supply chain reporting
    • Setting up SAP codes
    • Running reports daily and weekly
  • Assisting the NPD team with paperwork and samples
  • Update documents and pricing in line with customer requirements

Duties Will Include:

  • General support to existing customers; conducting range reviews and refreshes to grow their business with the brand. This will involve sales analysis and presentations through to hands on instore merchandising including making wooden frames, assembling boxes and displaying the products ready for retail. This will require a willingness to ask pertinent questions with influencing skills being key to success.
  • Identify possible new customers through your initiative referrals, developing your own leads, internet, databases etc. Working with sales and marketing colleagues to drive support.
  • Convert prospects into customers – liaising with customer to finalise product mix and installation logistics.
  • To install new customer sites – making wooden frames, assembling boxes and merchandising of freezers to be “retail ready”. About You

  • Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience within food manufacturing.
  • A strong understanding of food safety, quality systems and customer requirements.
  • Experience working within a chilled food, fresh produce or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, traceability and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for getting things right first time.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with Technical, Production and Supply Chain teams.
