Major Recruitment are looking for HGV 1 multidrop driver to join us in January for an on-going contract based in Severn Beach Bristol.

You will be delivering to our clients stores arounf the southwest and some collections will be required.

Driving assessment will be taking place early January and once passed you will be offered continuous work.

Pay rate starts at £17.34 up to 42hrs the overtime rate apply.

HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 driver – St Phillips or Avonmouth Bristol

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Start times – between 7am and 8:30am

Pay: £16 per hour

Major recruitment are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-know company within the logistics and transportation industry

Daily duties will consist of but are not limited to:-

  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

  • Must have held licence minimum 12 months
  • Must have minimum 12 months experience in HGV driving
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
  • Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English.
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Must be punctual and have good timekeeping
  • Must be prepared to do nights out (up to 2 a week £25 per night)

Desirable Experience

  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
  • Experience using a Tail Lift and Electric Pump Truck.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful CCNSG Industrial Cleaning Operatives to work with a market leader within their sector, where you will be involved in a varied role that could include:

  • Carry out industrial services operations to a high standard in accordance with training and H&S procedures.

Load and pull vehicles into appropriate dispatch groups as needed.

Ensure the correct vehicles are moved and pulled within the site as per the requirements.

Clean vehicles to the required standard for inspection.

Perform photography tasks, battery maintenance, and other vehicle maintenance activities.

This is a physically active role, with up to 20,000 steps per day.

Adhere to and uphold high Health & Safety standards on site.

Ensure compliance with site rules and regulations set by BMW.
