Overview

Our client is a well-established and growing compliance specialist, currently seeking experienced Legionella Risk Assessors to cover sites across the Midlands and the North West. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality, compliant risk assessments and enjoys working autonomously in the field.

You’ll be responsible for conducting Legionella risk assessments across a varied portfolio of commercial and residential properties, ensuring all work is completed in line with current legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274
  • Producing clear, accurate, and compliant reports with actionable recommendations
  • Identifying risks associated with hot and cold water systems
  • Providing professional advice to clients on remedial actions and control measures
  • Ensuring all assessments are completed within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Representing the business professionally on-site with clients

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Relevant Legionella Risk Assessment qualification

Sample Management – Development of products will require kitchen development work regarding samples for customer presentations.

Samples are fit for purpose and of the highest quality for both internal and customer approval.

Project management – Lead and own all customers and projects working closely with Category, Commercial, Technical, Planning & Operations.

Internal and external teams understand the ownership of the project. Provide clear communication to and direction to all key stakeholders both internally and within our customers.

NPD Meeting leadership – Cross functional, biweekly meeting.

Specifications and artwork are approved in a timely manner as directed by our customers and inline with the critical path.

Benchmarking – Support the benchmarking schedule. Feedback to the business updates with opportunities and developments within the sector

Process Management – Support the Process Technologist in investigation of process related issues, identifying issues and making recommendations to deliver quality and consistency.

Continuous improvement approach to NPD & Production

Customer presentations – Lead NPD / Product development and Benchmarking meetings with all customers.

Product Presentations are led by the NPD team to customers and aligned with Category and Commercial.

A passion for food culture, research through media, online platforms, comp shops, food safaris and recipe exploration. Share your findings with the team.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Health ad Safety Officer:

  • Assisting the H&S Manager in leading and embedding a strong and robust health and safety culture across the organisation
  • Implementing H&S Team actions.
  • Assisting with the development of policies and procedures in relation to health and safety.

Based remotely you will carry out routine service work on various motors and drives, with installation and refitting of new for old. Assist with the Hire business with regards to installations and commissioning on site and ongoing operation of installed equipment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service Existing Customers Drives.
  • Assist in installations of MCC’s, New for Old Variable Speed Drivees and Soft starters.
  • Attend breakdowns to customers sites for reactive maintenance.

  • Mark up drawings with modifications.

  • You will be required to operate within a rolling rate basis for 24/7 cover.

YOUR SKILLS

The ideal candidate will be a time-served Electrical Technician with a background in either Field Service, Electrical Installation, Site Services or Electrical Contracting. You will need to be 18th Edition qualified with a current JIB or CSCS card and a good working knowledge of 240 – 690 LV, single and 3 phase systems etc. Experience of PLCs would be an advantage. You will also need a good level of IT proficiency. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is a full UK Driving Licence
