Major Recruitment are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers out of Carrington for a well-known haulage company.

We are looking for a number of HGV drivers to work on Days, Nights, Weekends and Tramping. We are looking for committed HGV drivers to carry out the roles and responsibilities put forward by the client.

The client deal in general haulage therefore there is a number of different opportunities within the business.

Requirements –

– Clean license, no more than 6 points (No DD, DR or IN10)
– Full Driving license
– CPC and Digital Tachograph
– Right to work in the UK

Responsibilites –

– Vehicle safety checks and maintenance

– General haulage

– Communication with transport office

Shift patterns –

Monday – Friday (Days, Nights, Weekends, Tramping)

Weekend (Days, nights, Weekends, Tramping)

Rate of Pay –

£13.50 ph days

£14.50 ph nights

£15.00 ph days weekends

£16.00 ph nights weekends

Field Service Engineers

Major Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our our well known client in Ashton-in-Makerfield

The role of Field Service Engineer is to carry out repairs and servicing of medical products, as well as installing, collecting or exchanging equipment when required.

This role is very manual so good manual handling skills are essential (e.g. moving equipment, working in small areas or restricted positions), however full manual handling training will be provided.

Driving is a key part of this role. You will be expected to travel within the local area, and be comfortable to enter hospitals, care homes and private domicile to carry out the installation and servicing of medical products.

Excellent customer service and an empathetic approach is essential whilst carrying out these duties, as you will be liaising with the staff and carers of vulnerable people.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 8.30 am to 17.00 pm working an average of 38.33 per week. There will also be a need to be on 24 hour call on a rotation with your colleagues, so flexibility is essential.
