Our client in the Wythenshawe area are looking for 4 Packing opertaives to join their team.

The working hours are Monday – Friday 7.30am-3.30pm £11.50ph

Must have strong warehouse background experience

Role Summary.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of finished products during the packing process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Verify that products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards for quality.
  • Inspect packaging materials for integrity, proper labeling, good print, and compliance with packaging guidelines.
  • There also may be a requirement to pack some materials.
  • Strong attention to detail required due to read a small print on pouch.

Knowledge.

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements.
  • Reading, Writing & Communication skills.
  • Basic Math’s knowledge.

Production/assembly worker

Our client in the Delph area are looking for someone to join their team as an Assembly/Production operative.

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

Stock

  • To check stock requirements based on Picking Lists and request purchase orders where appropriate.
  • To update stock tally sheets as and when items picked.
  • To answer the intercom and collect goods from the loading bays, ensuring all incoming goods have received a Goods Inward reference number and the goods are clearly labelled with this.

Production of products:

  • To assemble a range of component parts into finished products on the assembly line.
  • To ensure all component part batch ID numbers are recorded correctly on the picking list.

Despatch

  • To ensure that all goods ready for despatch are quality checked and match the original Picking List in line with the ISO 9001.
  • To pack and weigh outgoing orders, updating the Picking List with the dimensions and returning the paperwork to the office.
  • To ensure all orders are placed in the Goods Outward area with the customer name and contents clearly labelled.

General

  • To ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times and rubbish is removed each day. This includes ensuring that all work benches are clean and tidy and that the floor is swept and rubbish free at the end of each working day.

Major Recruitment have an exciting assignment to join our client as General Merchandiser working Sunday – Saturday 20:00-08:00 paying £10.50 per hour based in Horwich

As a General Merchandiser you will work under the guidance of the team lead for high street names in a fast-paced retail environment. It will be your responsibility to unpack and display products on the shop floor in line with brand standards set down by the client. A wide variety of stock will need to be handled in an appropriate and efficient manner to ensure tight timeframes are met and customer’s expectations are exceeded.
