The Role

  • Lead generation through strategic planning

Requirements

  • Proven track record of winning business through B2B and B2C sales
  • A network of contacts in the legal profession would be ideal
  • Experience in a similar business development or sales role with a background in strategic and key account customer relationship management

Transport Planner

DNA Recruitment Solutions are hiring a temp to perm Transport Planner for our client in Trafford Park, Manchester. The company have been in the transport and distribution industry for over 40 years and are enjoying a prolonged period of growth.

Working alongside the general manager, you will be a team player who goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction with a strong focus on safety and will possess great IT and communication skills. The role is based in modern offices in the heart of Trafford Park with excellent transport links and on site parking. You will use state of the art technology to ensure full visibility and enable you to communicate effectively with customers at every stage of their logistics journey.

The Role

  • Planning and routing the fleet of over 50 vehicles
  • Managing routes as economically as possible
  • Plan routes in line with Drivers hours and WTD
  • Communicate with customers to keep them informed and up to date with their orders
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and admin including costings, charges, queries etc
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and comply with company standards
  • Brief/debrief drivers depending on shift pattern
  • Ensure defects/faults are logged and recorded accurately
  • Oversee servicing/repair arrangements to ensure optimal fleet utilisation
  • Liaise with 3rd party contractors/agencies

FLT Counterbalance driver

We are looking to recruit drivers for our various contracts across Manchester – we have work for PAYE and LTD drivers and have both days and nights available.

PAYE DAYS work – Generally around South Manchester, Wythenshawe and the airport.

Days involves deliveries and collections on curtianside trucks around the North West. Most stock is moved with FLT but some pump truck work required.

PAYE Work Nights – Trunk work depot to depot , heathrow runs, Palletnetwork runs, Or airline deliveries and collections

Weekdays

Rates vary by client but Generally between £14.50 with Overtime or straight rates £15.50 – £18 All our rates have holiday paid separately but happy to discuss higher rates to include holiday pay on request

Weekends – Trunk work from Trafford Park or the Airport – couple of drops Sat £17 Per hour sunday £20 Per hour Min 10 hours paid

Class 1 tramper driver wanted based in Rossendale BB4.

This is tramping work, requiring helping with loading and unloading – breaks paid,

Manual handling involved.

Class 1 = £14.84 per hour for first 60 hours M-F, then £19.08 each hour thereafter

Any Sat hours £19.08 ph for first 4 and £25.44 ph thereafter

Any Sunday hours £25.44 ph

Night out allowance is £26.20 per night sleeper cab (paid as expenses tax free)

All expenses paid – toll roads, parking fees etc

Paid working hours are full (including drive, break, load/unload etc)

Holiday are 33 days (inc stats) per year rising by 1 day after 4 years, 2 after 8 years and 3 after 12 years’ service. Holiday pay is last 8 weeks average pay.

This is for ad hoc, day by day work and is PAYE only.

You will be delivering and collecting palletised goods on a class 2 curtain sided vehicle, doing approx 8 to 15 deliveries and collections per day. The average day will be around 10 to 12 hours
