DNA Recruitment Solutions are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, one of the largest legal professional bodies in the UK. As a not for profit organisation, their mission is to make legal services accessible for anyone and also to enable anyone from any background to train and qualify within the legal profession.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with business development experience to train and manage a small team in B2B and B2C strategies to drive market growth and overall expansion. Reporting to the Director of strategic partnerships you will work remotely with regular catch ups and meetings with their team at the co working office space based in Milton Keynes.
The Role
- Lead generation through strategic planning
- Drive sales and manage sales pipeline
- Manage sales and business development team to deliver targets and KPIs
- Use CRM to monitor performance and pipeline
- Represent the company by being an ambassador of the brand at meetings and events
- Develop and demonstarte in depth product and industry knowledge
- Nurture relationships with existing customer base
- Identify new opportunities and decision makers to grow customer base
- Visit potential new customers to showcase the brand
- Identify and implement strategies for improvement and sustained growth
Requirements
- Proven track record of winning business through B2B and B2C sales
- A network of contacts in the legal profession would be ideal
- Experience in a similar business development or sales role with a background in strategic and key account customer relationship management
- Target driven, outcome focused
- Outstanding communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong IT skills, knowledge of sales tools and CRMs
- Able to build rapport with key decision makers in a corporate environment
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Ambitious and motivated
The ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of professional services and will understand how government funding and/or apprenticeships work and how they support both public sector and commercial organisations.
