Hamilton Woods Associates has been engaged by a renowned housing association in Sheffield to recruit for an Electrician on a temporary – permanent basis. The role will cover Sheffield and surrounding areas, including as far as Barnsley, across to Scunthorpe and Gainsborough.

Responsibilities of the Electrician include:

  • Undertaking all electrical repairs and renovations identified within void and tenanted social housing properties
  • Ensuring correct materials are identified and used to complete the work at the required quality standard
  • Completing EICRs, installation and minor works certificates
  • Using a PDA to receive and complete work
  • Liaising with tenants and managers concerning the timing and progress of work being undertaken
  • Carrying out work to risk assessments
  • Undertaking further training and qualifications where required

Requirements of the Electrician:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • NVQ Level 3 minimum
  • Full UK Driving License

This role involves managing projects for National Grid and other customers in the Power Transmission industry.

Summary of Role:

They require a Project Manager with experience delivering projects in Power Transmission or related disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting customer expectations.

Role Description:

  • Manage projects ranging from £50K to £600K, overseeing all aspects from inception to delivery.
  • Ensure projects meet specified requirements, budget constraints, and customer satisfaction.
