Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CAT 3 Vibration Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position offering a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring of machinery across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze vibration data and condition monitoring reports to identify issues and signs of machine defects.
  • Compile detailed recommendations for required service and repair, as well as potential upselling of new product offerings beneficial to clients.
  • Assist with some site work, potentially including the installation of new hardware, setting up online systems and networks, and commissioning.
  • Work closely with clients to provide expert advice and support, ensuring optimal performance of their machinery.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships through effective communication and professional service.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
  • Ideally, certified in Appreciated Vibration Analysis (CAT 3).
  • Solid electrical and mechanical background.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, preparing detailed reports, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information to clients.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in industries such as oil and gas, marine, SPM, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, automotive, and motorsport.
  • Familiarity with the latest condition monitoring tools and technologies.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role, with a focus on customer satisfaction and upselling.

Summary of Role:
The Project Manager will oversee a series of projects focused on upgrading and modifying existing Transmission substation protection and control systems for National Grid and other Power Transmission customers. Prior experience in managing projects within the Power Transmission industry or a similar field is advantageous. This role will involve occasional travel to client sites.

Role Description:

  • Manage projects ranging from £50K to £600K, from inception to delivery, within stringent deadlines.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of projects.
  • Manage subcontracts effectively.
  • Lead and motivate a team of hardware, software, and installation engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to all Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety standards through collaboration with the Q,E,H&S Manager and project H&S Advisor.
  • Conduct regular progress and status meetings with clients.
  • Foster future business opportunities by exceeding customer expectations through exceptional project delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven project management experience in an engineering sector, preferably within Power Transmission or a similar regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in planning and scheduling work activities using Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and resolve early commercial and technical risks/issues.
  • Track record of meeting project timelines, budgets, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in team management.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel, including overnight stays at client sites.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts.

My client are seeking an experienced and adaptable Test Development Engineer to join their team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Systems/Circuit design, management, and software development, with a focus on testing Electronic Power Control Units for the Aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and introduce ATE Test Systems, particularly NI PXI based production (NPI) test equipment for Electronic Power Control Units, incorporating Mil Std., ARINC 429, CAN Bus, RS422, RS232, JTAG, and other high-speed logic.
  • Compile top-level scripts and lower-level LabVIEW drivers, NI TestStand, and ensure traceability via DOOR and Technical Requirements/Compliance Matrix.
  • Qualification testing, validation, and verification of safety-critical product designs, including hydraulic and mechanical elements.
  • Set up Electro-Mechanical, Hydraulic Systems, and perform electrical validation of LRUs.
  • Develop and maintain automated test setups for product-specific lab tests.
  • Design, develop, and commission test equipment for specific programs and other projects, adhering to industry standards and specifications.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in ATE Test Systems Design, Development, and Introduction.
  • Proficient in LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and other relevant tools.
  • Experience in Electro-Mechanical and Hydraulic Systems setup.
  • Strong background in RF test equipment (2-18 GHz), Spectrum & Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.
