Cleanroom Operator

Great opportunity for an experienced Assembler or Cleanroom operative to join a small team for our client in High Wycombe!!

The successful applicant should have the following profile:

Be both literate and numerate. Have a good level of understanding of the English Language to be able to read, understand and follow essential production documentation:

Manual Skills Required: Visual and manual dexterity to perform Production Operations including Assembly. Use of light industrial equipment and hand tools. Keyboard Skills.

The Hours are Mon – Thur 8-5 with two half-hour breaks and Fri 8 -2 with one half-hour break, the rate of pay would be £10.55ph, and 20 days holiday.

General Duties:

Carry out production operations in line with the Product Specification, Company, and Quality work methods and within any specified time constraints. Ensure any record-keeping activities are completed and signed off where appropriate.

Work within the Company’s Health & Safety Policy. Work within the Company’s cleanroom procedures, including gowning, hand washing, and cleaning (SOP57, FC147, FC190) Assist with on job training for new people.

Work within a team and contribute towards continuous improvement programmes. Provide cover for the role of Cleanroom Component Operator when required (JS49). Undergo training to meet the Company’s requirements. Any other reasonable tasks allocated by the Directors of the Company.

Production operations including assembly and use of light industrial equipment and hand tools. Monitoring Production: visual checking, daily, weekly, and monthly clean downs. Standing for long periods, moving products and materials on work trollies.

Working environment: Cleanroom – Controlled temperature, clean work area. Use of solvents, including but not limited to, isopropyl alcohol (IPA), Denatured Ethanol (IMS), peroxide-based cleaning agents, Cyclohexanone, and Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK)

Protective Clothing is provided in line with the company cleanroom procedures (SOP57, FC147)

A general introduction to the company is given by the Operations Manager and Office Supervisor. A training schedule is devised to meet the needs of the individual. This will include the use of the computer system and relevant software packages.

Production Planner

K&D are delighted to be supporting our local client who are looking for an experienced Production Planner, the role will be based on their site which is based just outside of Aylesbury.

What you will need? An understanding of manufacturing processes. Qualifications relevant to manufacturing operations.

Office Environment Experience. Experience with Production/Supply Planning. The ability to resolve problems in an efficient manner. Experience using ERP systems Strong MS Office Skills Approachable Attitude

The role?

As a Production Planner you will be responsible for assisting the co-ordination of the production schedules for multi-site locations.

You will report directly into the Production Planning Supervisor. The Planner will aide facilitation of the timely planning of deliveries within the supply chain. The Planner optimises inventory and production planning to meet service, cost

and timeliness objectives.

Cooperating with and support the compliance management system and encouraging personnel to do the same

  • Developing personnel awareness of product compliance obligations
  • Actively participate in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.
  • Ensuring that all personnel within their control are complying with the organisations product compliance obligations, policies, processes and procedures
  • Integrating product compliance obligations into existing business practises and procedures in their area of responsibility and encouraging a compliance culture
  • Encouraging their personnel to raise product compliance concerns.

The Production Planner will work with the Production Planning Supervisor to; Manage and control production schedules daily.

Manage and control the Order book via communication with the Sales Order Processing team.

Produce the Production Plan in line with Demand Schedule.

Advise Commercial teams on delivery schedules v Customer Requirements. Liaise with Procurement and Logistics as required.

Advise Sales about increased lead times during busy periods. Work with Production Managers and Cell Leaders to resolve potential bottlenecks in production.

Manage Factory Capacity regarding Resource Planning.

Maintain stock accuracy across all locations to ensure physical stock matches system balances.

Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure backflushing completed in a timely manner Any other reasonable related duties as required including travel to other sites.

Maintain and promote a compliance culture throughout the organisation in order to ensure the highest levels of integrity, honesty and professionalism.

Promote the highest possible standards of health, safety, environmental, quality and product compliance.

Delivery Driver

K&D are seeking 2 x high value furniture Delivery Drivers for our client based in Amersham.

  • Have you a clean, valid driving licence?
  • Do you have the ability to work, drive, lift and carry heavy high value items?
  • Do you have strong time management and customer service skills?

As Delivery Driver, you will load, transport and deliver items to customers and businesses in a safe, timely manner.

The role carries a high level or responsibility to ensure all clients receive the highest level of customer care.

You will deliver to customers in the area with occasional trips further out, once or twice fortnightly.

You will have previous experience in delivering high value furniture.

You will have a full, clean driving licence (3.5 tonne) excellent customer service and time management skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.

We are ideally seeking 2 drivers with experience of working together.

Hours part time or full time.

Salary £25k-£30k full time or pro rata’d part time.
