FLT Counterbalance Driver

Major Recruitment are recruiting FLT Counterbalance Drivers for our client based in Royton, Oldham.

A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential to be considered for the role. Unfortunately we are unable to accept in house licences.

We are recruiting across rotating shifts (6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm) and fixed nights 10pm – 6am Monday to Friday.

Training & Site Requirements

As a Mobile Plant Operator at the Brackmills Waste Transfer Station, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day site operations, processing incoming waste materials, and maintaining site safety standards.

Key Day-to-Day Duties

  • Safely operate heavy plant machinery (Telehandlers, and where certified, Loading Shovels and 360 Excavators) to load, move, and stack waste materials across the site.

  • Control tipping hall operations, perform vehicle marshalling, and direct traffic/deliveries safely within the transfer station.

  • Load bulk collection vehicles, static plant, and transfer containers efficiently.

  • Ensure a continuous, reliable supply of waste is available for processing and bulking.
