My Telford based client is currently recruiting for a Material Controller on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:-

  • Complete the day to day scheduling of materials required
  • Communicate with material suppliers to achieve competitive prices, place purchase orders, expedite deliveries and to manage the return and replacement of reject materials
  • Manage and report supplier performance
  • Communicate the material scheduling activities
  • Support the accounts department with invoice and delivery queries

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • ERP system knowledge
  • Ideally Opera and/or Microsoft AX software experience
  • Manufacturing, engineering or distribution industry experience

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative with PPT experience for our client in Leyland PR25 area,

This position is a temp to perm position strong employment history is essential

We are currently working with a world leading manufacturing company, that are looking to expand they’re good’s in and good’s out teams.

duties will include but not limited to:

  • Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
  • Despatch order checking against warehouse SAP documentation and accuracy in completion of all warehouse paperwork
  • Picking and Put away – allocation and distribution of Finish Goods
  • Safe operation of the Warehouse pallet movement systems
  • Reach, Counterbalance FLT and Powered Pallet Truck experience (desirable but full training will be given)
  • Palletising Operations
  • Daily Set up of machines to start the production cycle
  • Feeding materials / pallets to semi-automated machines
  • Responsible for housekeeping within their area (clean as you go)
  • Good understanding of food safety culture
  • Ability to work in a physical, chilled environment with activities to include bending, lifting and basic manual handling.

We are looking for experienced warehouse operatives/pickers and packers on a FULL TIME basis to work at our client’s logistics company located in the LS12 area of Leeds

This role has the potential to be a 12-week temp to perm contract for the right candidate. To be successful at getting a permanent job after 12 weeks you need to be reliable, driven to hit targets, be flexible in your approach to work and have a good level of spoken & written English.

Shifts available:

MUST be flexible and able to rotate on a shift pattern of days and afternoons.

Monday to Friday 6am-2.30pm /10am- 6.30pm

Monday to Friday 7am-3.30pm /1.15pm-9.45pm

Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm

With 1 to 2 Sundays per month working 7am-3.30pm (Enhanced pay rate of £13.44ph)

Also, a degree of flexibility will be required in busy sale periods as you could be working an extra 2 hours per day.

Your duties will include:

– Processing returns

– Picking single & multiple orders

– Using picking sheets & scanners to pick items

– Packing items ready to go out to customers

– Working to picking & packing targets

– Using trolleys & other equipment/machinery safely

Pay grades:

£11.44 per hour Monday to Friday

Overtime after 40 hours per week

Duties and tasks will include:

  • Manage all inbound customer service enquiries via phone, email, and CRM system, ensuring a professional and efficient response.
  • Triage enquiries to the appropriate departments, including Account Managers, Customer Success Teams, and Technical Support, while handling general enquiries independently.

  • Manage central email inboxes, ensuring emails are dealt with promptly or forwarded to the relevant person and filed appropriately.
  • Support the HR function by maintaining employee records, including holiday and absence records.

  • Minimum 1-year experience in sales order processing or a similar administrative/customer service role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable.
