Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 DOE

A charity with a national profile is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant who enjoys ownership, variety and working closely with creative, operational teams in a fast paced environment.

You will act as a trusted partner to senior managers and production teams, delivering clear financial insight, robust reporting and effective budgeting across a broad range of projects and activities. As the organisation continues to expand its programme of work, this role plays a key part in ensuring strong financial management and strategic decision making.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive finance team that works closely with colleagues across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

* Producing monthly and year end management accounts with insightful analysis
* Partnering with producers, project leads and senior stakeholders to build budgets and monitor financial performance
* Managing income and expenditure for multiple productions and projects, identifying risks and opportunities
* Supporting commercial discussions and agreements with external partners
* Coordinating the year end process for designated portfolios
* Line managing two Assistant Finance Business Partners and supporting their development
* Building strong relationships with budget holders and communicating financial information clearly to non finance colleagues

What you’ll need

* Qualified
* Strong management accounting and financial planning experience
* Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment
* Excellent communication skills, able to simplify financial information
* Experience in a Charity or Not for Profit

Hamilton Woods Associates are looking for a Damp and Mould Surveyor to join a social housing providers Repairs and Maintenance team. This role involves providing specialist advice on complex repair issues, damp and mould, housing disrepair, and escalated cases, while ensuring statutory and regulatory obligations are met.

Responsibilities of the Damp ad Mould Surveyor:

  • Acting as the property expert for teams across the organisation.
  • Inspecting tenanted and empty homes, identifying maintenance and investment needs.
  • Completing damp and mould assessments in line with Awaab’s Law.
  • Managing cases from start to finish, providing timely updates and recommendations.
  • Overseeing and inspecting work by contractors and in-house teams, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation.
  • Supporting Housing Disrepair Claims and resolve low-level complaints.
  • Contributing to asset planning and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate data and reporting.

Requirements of the Damp and Mould Surveyor:

  • Strong technical knowledge of building construction, repairs, and regulations.
  • Experience in on-site supervision and managing contractors.
  • Experience in specifying remedial works.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A relevant qualifications would be advantageous eg HNC/RICS/ CIOB Membership

This role involves nights away.

Working Monday to Friday, 4 nights out.

Early starts.

Truck is a curtainsider Daf, with bed in the cabin.

Deliveries with using tail lift and electric pump truck,

Usually delivering to London area night out and come back up to Manchester next day to take another load down.

We are offering £18 an h LTD, or £15.50 paye not including your holiday pay.

This can be added on if you require so.
