Major Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 2 drivers to work for a well established manufacturing and distribution company, based in the Leeds area.

Pay Rate for the Class 2 Driver:

£14.00 per hour PAYE

Duties of the Class 2 Driver:

Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles

Delivering palletised goods, hand balling smaller packaged goods.

Delivering between 8-18 drops per day, depending on the clients requirements and area you are delivering to

Hours of the Class 2 Drivers:

The client usually requires cover 3-4 days per week, between Monday to Friday. Start times will vary but usually between 05:30-07:30.

Requirements:

Must have current HGV Class 2 (C) Licence

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Plasterer on behalf of a social housing provider to join their maintenance team, on a fixed term basis for 6 months.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Plasterer:

  • Complete patch and full plastering work on social housing kitchens and bathrooms
  • Carry out secondary skills such as basic joinery work, tiling and basic plumbing
  • Utilising a PDA
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements
  • Monitoring stock levels

Essential Requirements of the Plasterer:

  • Full UK Driving Licence

The organisation has hubs in Leeds, but you would have freedom to work from home should you wish.

Responsibilities of the Recruitment Advisor:

  • Managing the end to end recruitment process for a variety of roles across the business for teams such as Property Services, Housing Management, HR, IT and Marketing
  • Arranging and conducting interviews
  • Working closely with hiring managers to ensure relevant approval routes are approved before recruitment begins
  • Advocating for equality, diversity and inclusivity
  • Leading recruitment brief meetings with hiring managers
  • Supporting the development of assessment methods eg psychometric testing and assessment centres
  • Working with the current Recruitment Manager to develop improvements to the current recruitment processes
  • Supporting the delivery of recruitment training to managers
  • Working with the HR team to ensure all relevant new starter details are completed

Requirements of the Recruitment Advisor:

  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Previous in-house recruitment experience, working for a housing association, charity or Council is preferrable

We are currently recruiting for a number of roles within the warehouse, this role is full time and will be on a temp to perm basis.

  • Coldstore Operative Lates 1700 – 0300 – £13.41 per hour (Sunday to Thursday)

Main duties:

  • Pick products for customer orders
  • Manually pack products into boxes on trolleys ensuring the products are fit for purpose
  • Report any defects, accidents or violations
  • Make sure there is good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene and health and safety standards throughout the shift
  • Keeping the warehouse and surrounding areas clean
  • Also doing general warehouse duties such as box making, pallet wrapping etc.
  • Flexible to work in all departments throughout the warehouse
  • Loading the vehicles in an accurate way

Skills and Experience

  • Basic Health and Safety and hygiene.
  • Basic IT skills and bespoke systems in-house.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Previous experience with food products and materials.

This role does require you to have a full drivers licence and also a Reach Truck Licence.

  • Production Operatives – Monday to Thursday 16:50 – 01:20 and Friday 14:00-21:00

Main Duties:

  • Operating factory machinery and equipment

  • Weighing and classifying raw materials, fruits and vegetables in preparation for production

  • Handling and feeding batches of raw material into a conveyor belt

  • Packing variety of raw finished products performing quality assurance

  • Ensuring product is correctly produced and labeled

  • The work can be repetitive and will involved lifting variety of goods

  • General housekeeping and cleaning of the work areas

Skills and Experience

  • Basic Health and Safety and hygiene.
  • Basic IT skills and bespoke systems in-house.

Our client are seeking a range of E,C&I engineers for ongoing, long term contract positions in the North West. Engineers will be engaged on Nuclear Decommissioning projects.

  • Note – For all E,C&I Engineer roles candidates do NOT require prior nuclear industry experience.
