A Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis Engineer is sought to carry out CFD and thermal analysis and design for specialist electrical team for an innovative manufacturing / engineering company

You will develop, enhance and utilise CFD and thermal design tools, analytical and software, to undertake electrical & electronic design activities, perform analytical and numerical analysis to ascertain temperature profile, cooling methodology and design specification – using FEA and CFD as primary validation tools and prepare documentation and plans relating to cooling design methodology, test & qualification, manufacture (Work Instructions) and quality control.

You will also support fault analysis, root cause and corrective action activities including Design failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), verify and validate performance specifications, advising and assisting on test method setup and procedures, participate in and identify measures that improve performance, reliability, cost, assembly and design for manufacture of company products. You will also use CAD for file manipulation and/or extraction

YOUR SKILLS

The successful candidate will be HND / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or alternative related discipline with aerodynamic content and have about 5 years relevant and practical industrial experience applying CFD analysis and design principles to rotating equipment (engines, generators, turbines, motors, compressors etc). Experience of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools such as ANSYS FEA, ANSYS CFX or similar products would be a strong advantage as would proficiency with 3D CAD software and Microsoft Excel

HVAC / Cleanroom Service Engineers

Installation and Service Engineers with experience of HVAC systems and interiors are sought by a growing company to install systems on sites throughout the Midlands and South of England.

You will be responsible for upgrading HVAC and Air Filtration Systems, conducting commissioning, testing & validation activities and planned / reactive maintenance on HVAC units, air compressors and UPS ensuring minimal downtime and regulatory compliance. You will also keep detailed records of work carried out, complete sign off sheets, any corrective actions and service reports. You will also install wall panels, ceilings, doors and filter units within controlled environments and cleanrooms. You will also provide support to the Sales team in completing quotations where appropriate.

The successful candidate will gave experience of installing and maintaining HVAC systems and interior infrastructure such as Safety Cabinets, Airflow Units, Fan Filter Units, Wall Panels (preferably Kingspan), suspended grid ceilings and pressurised door systems.

Based remotely you will mainly cover sites in the Midlands or Southern England depending on your location.
