My Telford based client is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a permanent opportunity to work for an excellent organisation.

Responsibilities:-
- Operate all aspects of Purchase Ledger
- General administration
- Handling the reconciliation of cash transactions
- Reconciliations
- Support the monthly recharge process for resources and services
- Support the month-end and year-end accounting procedures, including ensuring staff are informed of deadlines in a timely manner and adhere to them
- Provide a customer-focused, professional service providing information and assistance
- Deal with enquiries
- Able to establish and maintain accurate records using both manual and electronic systems
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience of working in a busy Finance Department
- Previous Purchase Ledger experience
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel and Word
- Knowledge of financial procedures and controls
- GCSE (A-C or equivalent) Maths
