Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and a 12.30pm finish on Fridays.

Duties and task will include:

  • Set, and operate CNC machines including:
    • Fanuc-controlled machining centers
    • Mazak lathes and mills (Mazatrol)
    • Citizen machinery (Mitsubishi controls)
  • Interpret 2D engineering drawings and CAD data to generate accurate machining programs
  • Select tools, set up fixtures, and optimize cutting parameters
  • Measure and inspect parts using a wide range of precision equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Complete and understand quality control documentation
  • Optimize cycle times, reduce the number of machining operations, and contribute to process improvements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to refine designs and improve manufacturability

Warehouse Operative/ Container Unloader PART TIME

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/ Container Unloader, to work for a well-established Distribution company based in Cannock. Within this company, Warehouse Operatives typically work from Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 5:00pm (you must be flexible to work outside of these hours when required), for a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Production Operatives

My client is currently recruiting for Production/ General Operatives to work at their state-of the-art facility in Wolverhampton.

As the Process Operator you will be operating equipment and carrying out all necessary checks and tests to ensure high quality food is produced to customer specification.

Salary:

£14.90 an hour including Shift allowance

Overtime available at £21.47 an hour

Working hours

4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights) 12-hour shift pattern working 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am

The Role

Working as part of our site team, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the stores function by receiving deliveries, managing stock, issuing parts and maintaining accurate inventory records. You’ll help ensure our stores are well organised, compliant and ready to support planned maintenance activities and day-to-day operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Inspecting deliveries for accuracy, quality and damage, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Storing materials, spare parts and equipment safely, ensuring correct labelling and stock locations.
  • Issuing tools, consumables and spare parts to engineering and operational teams.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or inventory role, preferably within an industrial, engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using stock control or inventory management systems.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across site.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.

It would also be advantageous if you have:

  • A forklift truck licence.
  • A basic understanding of mechanical or electrical components.
