As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a major part in ensuring the quality of service described is adhered efficiently carrying out repairs whilst minimizing time and material costs.

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician

  • Document all repairs according to company policy and quality standards utilising BMW ISTA for repair instructions.
  • Adhere to supplier guidelines for material usage.
  • Participate in BMW training courses to learn new methods and techniques
  • Take ownership pf vehicles and responsibility for repairs performed.
  • Remain flexible in daily duties as needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to and improvement upon the quality of service as outlined in working procedures, as well as compliance with Health & Safety responsibilities and ISO 9001 accreditation.
  • Maintaining awareness, knowledge, and training on environmental issues within the ISO 14001 standard.
  • Ensuring compliance with site rules established by BMW.

Skills Required as a Vehicle Technician

  • IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Equivalent (certificates will be required)
  • Further qualifications in EV (BMW specific) would be advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
