05:00-07:30 am start depending on the route

Class 1 curtain trailer, delivering and collections. General haulage work – not trunking

11-13 hours a day.

We are private owned recruitment agency, based in Oldham.

PAYE- holiday pay -> you can build the pot and take it as holiday when required, or we can pay to weekly wages.

We do require minimum 12 Months experience, no more than 6 points, and no DD DR IN TT codes.

Automotive Administration Assistant

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to support the smooth running of operations, maintaining accurate records, managing documentation and ensuring all administrative procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Technical Support Department.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records relating to vehicle refurbishment and repair activities.
  • Review refurbishment work completed on returning fleet and rental vehicles, ensuring all costs are accurately captured and processed.
  • Cost vehicle refurbishment work across various business areas, including fleet, rental and internal vehicle programmes, and submit information for approval.
  • Review job cards to ensure all completed work has been correctly recorded, charged and is ready for invoicing using relevant internal systems.
  • Prepare repair estimates for rental vehicles, following company procedures for damage assessment, approval and authorisation.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks, including job card filing, document management, spreadsheet updates, manual clockings and job card collection.
  • Create, maintain and update databases, spreadsheets and reporting systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.
  • Produce regular management reports, including daily, weekly and monthly reports such as Open Jobs, BAO, WIP and consumables reports.
  • Support management with accurate data and information to assist with operational decisions, resource planning and workflow management.
  • Ensure all departmental processes and procedures are followed consistently.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within an administration role, ideally within an automotive, engineering or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence working with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
