As Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team and acting as the first point of contact for all internal and external requests. You will carry out a variety of tasks while delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating a proactive work ethic to ensure the administrative function remains professional, queries are resolved efficiently, and deadlines are met.

The roles and responsibilities of an Administrator will be varied and will include, but not be limited to:

* Be the first point of contact for all requests via telephone or email and direct these requests to the appropriate individual, ensuring a consistent and courteous approach is provided at all times.

* Administer all user requests, seeking management approval where necessary and appropriate.

* Establish and maintain excellent relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all necessary information and provide these to managers upon request.

* Raise work orders and purchase orders using NAV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debriefing drivers at the end of their shifts
  • Completing and maintaining accurate transport and compliance records
  • Providing general administrative support to the transport department
  • Ensuring all transport documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures
  • Supporting compliance with relevant transport regulations and internal policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a transport administration or similar logistics administration role

Major Recruitment has an exciting job opportunity for a Machine Operative/ Production Technician to join our prestigious manufacturing client based in Chadderton.

Previous machine operating experience is essential, CNC experience is highly desirable.

General duties to include

  • Working within a clean room manufacturing environment.
  • Operating and monitoring a CNC ply cutting machine to cut materials to specified dimensions.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
  • Carrying out quality checks on materials and finished parts to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Reporting machine faults or breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Adhering to Health & Safety regulations, including safe machine operation and use of PPE.

Pay Rate: £13.16 per hour plus further increases once permanent and fully trained
