  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in line with data protection requirements
  • Support customers in accessing digital and self-service options

Essential Requirements of the Customer Experience Coordinator:

This is a hands-on transport planning role focused on the daily scheduling and route planning of multiple loads. You’ll be responsible for planning efficient delivery schedules, coordinating vehicles and drivers, and ensuring multiple deliveries are allocated and dispatched on time.

Working closely with customers, hauliers and internal teams, you’ll play a key role in making sure daily transport plans run efficiently and issues are resolved quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and schedule multiple daily loads and deliveries across the transport network
* Build efficient delivery routes, considering locations, timings, vehicle capacity and delivery requirements
* Allocate loads to appropriate vehicles and hauliers
* Monitor and adjust routes throughout the day in response to delays, changes or operational issues
* Build and update loads on the internal transport planning system
* Coordinate directly with customers, hauliers, drivers and warehouse teams
* Manage inbound and outbound calls relating to deliveries, routes and schedules
* Identify and resolve delivery or transport issues quickly and efficiently
* Investigate orders that have not been delivered or processed correctly
* Produce and review transport reports to identify issues and improve planning efficiency
* Maintain accurate transport and planning records
* Support the wider transport team to ensure all daily loads are planned and dispatched on time

Ideal Background:

* Previous hands-on transport planning / route planning experience is essential
* Experience planning multiple loads and deliveries simultaneously
* Experience working directly with B2B customers and hauliers
* Strong understanding of transport scheduling, routing and vehicle utilisation
* Experience within logistics, transport or distribution environments
* Confident using transport management systems and Microsoft Office
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Able to remain calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced operational environment
