Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Gas Servicing Engineer for an organisation based in Manchester, on a temporary basis.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Gas Servicing Engineer:

  • Service, diagnose and repairs gas appliances in social housing properties and void properties
  • Complete certification in accordance with Gas Safety Regulations
  • Utilise a PDA device
  • Report any potential repairs

Essential Requirements of the Gas Servicing Engineer:

  • A relevant professional qualification (NVQ Level 3)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant domestic gas tickets (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1)

About the role – class 2 driver:

Ideal class 2 Driver candidate must have:

  • Good face to face customer service
  • Experience in a class 2
  • UK CAT C driving licence with no more than 6 points

Duties & Responsibilities of the Repairs Administrator:

  • Maintaining the database for all damp and mould cases, updating progress
  • Scheduling work for engineers
  • Liaising with customers and engineers to schedule in work
  • Keeping customers up to date with any changes and progress of repairs
  • Re-booking in cancelled appointments
  • Managing all associated administration

Essential Requirements of the Repairs Administrator:

  • Experience within repairs planning within social housing (desirable)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Pay Rate:

£14.00 – £17.70 per hour
