National Account Executive

As a National Account Executive, you will support the management and growth of key customers within the Convenience and Discount channels. Working closely with the Senior National Account Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day account activities, ensuring excellent customer execution, strong commercial performance, and effective delivery of business objectives.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to major retail customers, branded and Retailer Own Brand products, and develop the commercial skills required for progression into a National Account Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in delivering profitable growth and strengthening customer partnerships by:

  • Driving volume and value growth across assigned accounts through effective relationship management and execution of commercial plans.
  • Monitoring account performance against agreed targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Managing customer budgets, including trade spend, to support profitable growth and business development initiatives.
  • Supporting the Senior National Account Manager in creating and implementing strategic customer plans.
  • Producing clear and concise performance reports, highlighting key sales, distribution, and market trends.
  • Conducting regular store visits and market reviews to assess execution standards and identify new opportunities.
  • Working closely with the Category team to develop insight-led recommendations that improve customer performance.
  • Leading the day-to-day operational management of assigned accounts, including forecasting, promotional planning, service levels, and customer execution.
  • Supporting projects across both branded and Retailer Own Brand portfolios.
  • Providing account support and cover for the Senior National Account Manager when required.
  • Contributing accurate customer forecasts and performance data for the annual budgeting process.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience within FMCG, food, retail, or foodservice environments.
  • A commercially focused mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders through clear communication and well-founded recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret customer, market, and sales data using tools such as Kantar, IRI, and Nielsen.
  • Experience using data and insights to support sales growth, profitability, trade spend management, and business performance.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the confidence to present findings in a customer-focused format.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with pricing, promotional activity, forecasting, and reporting.

Night Hygiene Manager

We are seeking a highly capable Night Hygiene Manager to lead our hygiene operations and ensure that our site is fully compliant, safe, and production-ready every morning. This is a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance across our chilled food manufacturing facility.

About the Role

As Night Hygiene Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our site is cleaned effectively, efficiently, and in line with strict health, safety, and food safety requirements. You’ll manage and develop a dedicated hygiene team, drive continuous improvements in standards and systems, and ensure compliance with external audits and certifications (BRC, ISO, and customer standards).

This role requires a hands-on, motivated leader with a sharp eye for detail and a strong ability to inspire and engage people in a compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership for hygiene operations on the night shift, ensuring the site is clean, safe, and production-ready.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the hygiene team to deliver exceptional standards, clear objectives, and a positive team culture.
  • Plan and allocate workload for night hygiene staff, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement in hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all hygiene, food safety, and health & safety regulations, including BRC, ISO, and other industry standards.
  • Maintain and update hygiene schedules, SOPs, and work instructions to meet internal and external audit requirements.
  • Deliver training on chemical handling, safe systems of work, and hygiene best practices for individuals and groups.
  • Take responsibility for waste segregation, recycling, and the delivery of cost-saving initiatives within hygiene and waste management.

The Role

This is a hands-on, commercial role where you’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager to unlock growth across the UK market. You’ll play a key part in managing major customer accounts day to day, helping to drive profitable growth, outstanding service levels, and long-term partnerships.
