Operations Manager
To be responsible for the production and overall quality of our product, achievement of the required high standards of hygiene with the necessary level of productivity and minimum waste whilst promoting high standards in health and safety practice.
Specific Duties:
- To achieve the very highest standards of hygiene and quality
- To participate in the development of the ISO quality plans and HACCP quality system and ensure all records are maintained.
- To promote and follow the company’s health and safety policy as set out in the company handbook.
- To make every effort to ensure that the quality and presentation of products meets the required standards and complies with the specifications set out in the Company’s Quality System.
- To liaise closely with the Technical Manager to ensure the products meet the required microbiological standards.
- To always promote staff awareness to hygiene, health and safety and other rules and regulations that appear in the company handbook.
- To manage the workforce with regards to wage adjustments and develop the staff supervisory structure.
- To liaise with the Site Manager regarding staff and to promote and train staff as necessary.
- To undertake the role of Safety Officer and to be responsible for maintaining the appropriate structure within the Company to achieve the desired high standard of safety.
- To attend the regular weekly cheese tastings to monitor the quality of the products.
- To manage the use of utilities, to reduce them within reason.
National Account Manager – OOH / Foodservice
Taking full ownership of the OOH channel, you will have full ownership and accountability for the delivering our ambitious growth plans. This role will have full support from the business enabling absolute autonomy to drive and shape the strategic intent across the UK market ensuring we are renowned for delivering truly outstanding service to all clients. Ideally we are looking for experience of Dominos, QSR – Burger chains, Brakes and Bidfoods would be ideal
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the OOH strategy, developing new business across the sector
- Execution and ongoing development of the OOH strategy
- Internal and External comms of the strategy with regular internal updates to senior stakeholders (exec)
- Creation of focused personal development plans that ensures a real balance between expectation of delivery and strong development across a team of four people
- Creation of clear and concise targets to drive a results led culture to achieve our 5 year aspirations. (ie healthy future pipeline)
- Harmonising a cross functional team towards a common goal
- Regular updates to key internal stakeholders (Executive and functional leads)

The role is hybrid working, we ideally need someone who can commute to an office in London on a weekly basis, so are very open with regards location dynamic
Commercial Executive
- Manage day to day tasks and administration with regards to promotional and core business, to ensure that the systems and process are maintained:
- Assisting the Commercial Managers in the promotional planning process within specified margin and budget parameters.
- Ensure pricing is correct on SAP and Customer system
- New Line Forms
- Forecasting/Supply chain reporting
- Setting up SAP codes
- Running reports daily and weekly
- Assisting the NPD team with paperwork and samples
- Update documents and pricing in line with customer requirements
- Assist with planning and delivery of customer and site visits and events (will include travel)
- Generate presentations when necessary for customer or site meetings
- Apply problem solving techniques to resolve problems and recommend improvements
- Ensure that all processes are carried out correctly to standard, first time
- To highlight any potential areas that can reduce cost
- Support the Grocery team to develop, maintain and safeguard the current business with the customer
- Work with the category and NPD team on plans for future growth

Brand Manager – FMCG
We are looking for an enthusiastic Brand Manager to look after a global brand. You will be managing a market leading brand sold in over 150 countries and one which is the Number 1 brand in its category in Europe!
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will have ownership of part of the brand portfolio. You will create and deliver marketing plans within an allocated budget to achieve agreed objectives of sales, profit and market share.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand management
- Support the Marketing Manager on leading the brand strategy on the UK market
- Liaise with the global team in Europe
- Identify market risks & opportunities to build growth plans in line with business targets
- Support the Marketing Manager on building the annual brand plans to the business and key customers (Tesco, Waitrose, etc.)
- Build a strong activation plan in line with the brand objectives
- Work with the shopper team to implement branded activations as part of shopper marketing process
New product development
- Bring in depth consumer understanding to develop and implement consumer led NPDs
- Support the Marketing Manager on identifying from the global pipeline the next big UK NPD and lead the go to market plans including benchmarking, initiative sizing, retailer sell-in and launch activation
- Manage the artwork development processes, working with creative agencies and the local Quality team
- Proactively communicate with the central marketing team to ensure projects are delivered on time
Packaging
- Manage the artwork development process for the brand range.
- Lead the packaging recyclability project with the European factory and packaging teams.
Business analysis
- Provide regular analysis and reporting of the brand performance (sell-in, sell-out, consumer panel), as well as competitor tracking
- Outline recommendations for action when and where necessary
Finance
- Support the Marketing Manager on managing the brand budget reconciliation
- Create purchase orders
- Guardian of the products P&L working closely with the FP&A team
Media
- Support the Marketing Manager on defining the media strategy of the brand
- Work with the creative media agency to create stand-out and engaging brand communications
- Oversee execution of ATL and BTL activation across the full media mix
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in brand marketing FMCG (Food industry is a plus)
- The ability to analyse data sources, and experience using systems such as Nielsen/IRI/Kantar
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to communicate with clarity.
- French-speaker is a plus
