Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, receiving and booking in deliveries, replenishing stock, and loading and unloading vehicles. You will also complete warehouse paperwork, update stock information on internal systems, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organised workplace.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You’ll be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team and be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to support warehouse administration.

HR Officer

An experienced HR Officer is sought for a 3 Month contract to support a busy company in the Hexham area

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a depth of HR knowledge and experience to carry out an analysis of our existing systems, audit the existing data across the systems, develop process and documentation alongside delivering day-to-day HR administration tasks.

Duties will include:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records,
  • Coordinate and deliver onboarding of new starters including documentation and induction tasks
  • Prepare and issue documents such as employee contracts, contractual changes, leaver documentation other HR correspondence.
  • Arrange and maintain training records, monitor training requirements.
  • Coordinate probation reviews, appraisals, and other employee review processes.
  • Produce HR reports and management information to support business planning, compliance, and decision-making.
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support and contribute to the ongoing development of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Audit and reconcile employee data across the HR systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within HR systems, processes, and procedures, making recommendations and supporting the development and rollout of these where appropriate.
  • Support the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of HR systems and digital processes.
  • Assist with system enhancements, process improvements, and procedural updates, including user support and training.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional who is highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy. You will have a good knowledge of HR best practice and recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee lifecycle processes. A good knowledge of digital HR systems is essential as is a high level of IT Literacy.

You will need to be professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information appropriately, have experience supporting system implementations or process improvement initiatives and ideally experience of using payroll systems and some knowledge of Employment Law.

Class 2 Driver

Major Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to work for a well established building materials supplier based in the Rotherham S63 area.

Our client is a leading supplier of Insulation, construction products and building materials and delivers to a mixture of building sites, RDC’s and stores and looking for experienced Class 2 drivers for Monday to Friday shifts.

General start times are 05:00-06:00 and generally 8-12 hours shifts

PAYE Pay Rate:

£14.50 per hour (PAYE) plus holiday accrual

Duties:

Driving Class 2 vehicles

1-8 drops per days, a mixture of both delivering and collecting

Mainly palletised deliveries, using the tail lift and pallet truck

Hours:

Working between Monday to Friday

Start times between 0500-0600, on average 8-12 hours per day

Requirements:

Must have current Class 2 (C) Licence

Valid CPC and Digi Card

At least 6 month experience driving Class 2 vehicles
