    • £13.45 per hour (Morning/Afternoon shifts)
    • £14.45 per hour (Night shifts)

    • 6:00am – 2:00pm
    • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
    • 10:00pm – 6:00am
      ⚠️ Candidates must be able to work all three rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and joining steel strip coils for continuous production
  • Operating the floop (accumulator) system to maintain smooth material flow
  • Using welding or shear equipment to join steel strip ends
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Inspecting welds and materials to meet required standards
  • Recording production data and reporting any issues
  • Working closely with team members to minimise downtime

Requirements

  • Previous experience within Steel industry (essential)

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Duties of the Health and Safety Administrator:

  • Support the H&S Manager and Assistant H&S Advisor with administrative tasks
  • Track and monitor progress against actions as required
  • Monitor the H&S inbox, and inform the team of any actions required in a timely manner
  • Assist with the scheduling of H&S audits and inspections and maintaining the database
  • Support the HR team with scheduling H&S training
  • Co-ordinate risk assessments
  • Ensure processes and equipment such as PPE are in place across the organisation
  • Take meeting minutes in H&S meetings and ensure these are distributed
