What You’ll Be Doing

As a 3.5T Driver & Installer, you’ll be the face of the business-bringing products directly to customers’ homes and making sure everything is set up perfectly.

  • Delivering goods to customers (20-25 drops per day)
  • Providing a friendly, professional customer experience
  • Installing products safely and efficiently in customers’ homes
  • Keeping your vehicle clean, organised, and road-ready
  • Following all health & safety procedures

Van Driver / Planner

Major recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Multi Drop Van to join our well-established client based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-known supplier perishable items.

What are the benefits?

  • Tuesdays Fridays and Saturdays

Daily duties will consist of but are not limited to:-

  • Operating and driving a van safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

  • Knowledge of driving/working hours
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Keeping the van and equipment clean and tidy
  • Potentially step up when needed to print invoices, Plan routes
  • Sorting out deliveries for customers

Essential Skills

  • Must have held licence minimum 12 months
  • Must have previous recent experience in multi drop deliveries.
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
  • Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English.
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Must be able to use a computer

Desirable Experience

  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
  • Have own transport as start time may change due to deliveries running late or early

This is a key role within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, requiring a hands-on individual who can provide stability, insight and leadership during a transitional period.


The Role

You will take ownership of the FP&A and commercial finance function, working closely with senior stakeholders across finance, commercial and operational teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing cash flow and short to medium-term cash forecasting
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles, including regular reforecasts
  • Partnering with commercial and operational teams around valuations and WIP
  • Providing robust analysis and challenge to financial and operational data
