Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent, child centred care and emotional support to children with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Support with daily routines, community access, communication, and behavioural needs.
  • Implement positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Promote independence and inclusion through structured routines and meaningful activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care/PBS plans.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment in line with children’s safeguarding and care standards.

Requirements:

  • You must be a driver and have a full driving licece to be considered for this role.
  • Minimum 1 years experience supporting children or young adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
  • Knowledge of autism and/or physical/learning disabilities.
  • Experience with challenging behaviour and behavioural management techniques.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A caring, resilient, and empathetic nature.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Working as a part of the goods in/stores team

  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair.
  • All equipment used, including jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, will be operated as per the instructions, level of qualification and to the prescribed safety standards.
  • Adhere to the manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and replacement of chassis and panel work.
  • Where appropriate attend training courses to enable you to be updated on new techniques and produce development.
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is always maintained, keeping the Company’s tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition.
  • To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Tonbridge.
This is a temp to perm opportunity, with a permanent contract offered after a successful 3-month probation.

What you’ll be doing:

* Picking and preparing stock orders
* Stock preparation – wrapping rolls, boxing tape, bagging plugs
* Operating equipment – using the compactor to bale pallet wrap/card, and the chipper to recycle HDPE membrane offcuts
* Loading vans for delivery

* General site maintenance and cleaning – keeping the site tidy, sweeping the yard, weeding, grass cutting, recycling packing materials, emptying bins

Pay: £13.19 per hour

What we’re looking for:


* Experience is not essential – full training will be provided
* Someone physically fit and happy with active, hands-on work
* Comfortable working in a cool warehouse environment (approx. 10-12°C in winter)
* Ideally local to Tonbridge, with good, reasonable communication skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
