You will be working as a warehouse ops/ Forklift Counterbalance operatives (mixed duties)

The ideal Forklift Counterbalance operatives will have an accredited and in-date Forklift Counterbalance licence and previous experience in the warehouse and logistics sector.

Major Recruitment are looking for Forklift Counterbalance operatives to join our well-known client on a temp-to-perm contract. This role is available for an immediate start, on a full time basis only.

Manual handling involved and you will be on your feet and walking for 11.5 hours per day. Requires attention to detail and Forklift Counterbalance operatives skills and licence. There is no heavy lifting involved.

What you’ll be doing

  • Operate a PPT Truck safely and efficiently

As the Process Operator you will be operating equipment and carrying out all necessary checks and tests to ensure high quality food is produced to customer specification.

  • Meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team

  • Previous production operative experience
  • Knowledge of using computerised machines
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and able to work on own initiative

  • Previous experience in a Food Manufacturing environment but not essential
  • Ideally have Basic Food Hygiene certificate but not essential

Desirable Experience

  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
