A well-established distribution company based in Normanton is currently seeking Class 1 Night Drivers to work on a weekly basis.

PAYE Pay Rates for the Class 1 Driver:

– Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour
– Saturday & Sunday: Enhanced rate

Hours for the Class 1 Driver:

– Shifts available between Monday to Sunday
– Start times usually between 1500-1900

Duties of the Class 1 Driver:

– Between 1 – 4 drops per night depending on client requirements

This position involves working for a large supermarket chain doing home deliveries, working out sites across West Yorkshire, mainly Halifax, Leeds and Wakefield. PAYE Pay Rate for the Van Driver:

£13.50 per hour

Shifts for the Van Driver:

– Shifts available between Monday to Sunday

Duties for the Van Driver:

Class 1 Driver

Major Logistics is currently seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for a long-term contract based in the Halifax area.

The contract spans approximately 6 months. The position will initially be for Flatbed work initially, with the potential for HIAB training in the future.

Pay Rate for Class 1 Driver (PAYE):

– Basic (9.5 hrs per day): £16.64 per hour
– Overtime (after 9.5 hrs per day / 48 hrs per week): £22.14 per hour
– Plus holiday pay

Hours for Class 1 Driver:

– Monday to Friday, starting at 05:45 until finish

Duties for Class 1 Driver:

– Mainly delivering building blocks to commercial and residential sites

Requirements:

– Class 1 (CE) Licence
– Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card
– At least 1 year of experience driving Class 1 vehicles
– HIAB Experience will be an advantage but not essential

Pay Rate for the Class 2 Driver:

£14.00 per hour PAYE

Duties of the Class 2 Driver:

Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles

Delivering palletised goods, hand balling smaller packaged goods.

Delivering between 8-18 drops per day, depending on the clients requirements and area you are delivering to

Hours of the Class 2 Drivers:

The client usually requires cover 3-4 days per week, between Monday to Friday. Start times will vary but usually between 05:30-07:30.

The Internal Sales Account Manager will be a key team player within the sales team, in this fast-paced environment you will support the management of our clients A Brands. You will be responsible for managing the whole day to day sales and customer service function so you will need to be able to work on your own initiative and have been in a similar role previously mix. The Internal Sales Account Manager will be organised and flexible individual who can proactively ensure we are maximising efficiencies and must prioritise their own workload whilst working in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities of an Internal Sales Account Manager:

Being an ambassador for the brand and first point of contact for customers and our sales agents
Being responsible for the whole office day to day sales office function, answering phone calls and responding to e-mail enquiries, accurately imputing incoming orders for the brand, maintaining/updating customer records, producing pick lists and checking sales invoices, all on our bespoke software system and database
Handling customer service matters, ensuring matters are addressed or resolved quickly and efficiently.
Proactively making calls and sending e-mails to existing or new customers and sales agents, chasing business and advising on new collections, promotions/special offers or clearance
Liaising with Designers and Social Media teams to develop sales and marketing strategies and campaigns.
Managing the distribution of sales and marketing material and literature to customers and agents
Following up on sales leads
Producing regular and seasonal sales reports to the Managing Director
Passing on feedback from customers and sales agents to the relevant member/s of the team
Accurately checking stock levels and relaying information on to customers
Organising transportation/logistics with couriers and handling all the relevant paperwork and shipments
Assisting with after sales support
Attending occasional sales meetings and trade shows

Skills required to be an Internal Sales Account Manager :

Sales Office experience ideally from a similar branded product background
Accurate with an attention to detail
A proactive, positive and conscientious work ethic
Previous branded product knowledge would be desirable, with ability and willingness to pick up and absorb product knowledge quickly
Strong commercial acumen, results driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Logical analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels and maintain strong relationships with customers and sales agents
A genuine passion and energy for the brands and its products
Being an organised record keeper and administrator who follows up on activities
