An established and highly regarded precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer to join its growing machining team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer to work on a variety of complex, high-precision components across multiple industry sectors, using advanced CNC machining technology within a modern manufacturing environment.

The Role
As a CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer, you will be responsible for:

  • Offline programming using Autodesk PowerMill
  • Setting and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Producing complex components to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD data
  • Selecting tooling and optimising machining strategies
  • Conducting in-process inspection and quality checks
  • Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality components

Candidate Requirements
The successful CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer will have:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Operator
  • Strong knowledge of PowerMill CAM software
  • Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining
  • Ability to program, set and operate CNC milling machines independently
  • Experience machining a range of materials
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and quality standards
  • Prototype, tooling, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering experience would be advantageous

Package

  • £18.00 – £20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Are you a Site Supervisor who enjoys being out on site rather than stuck in an office?

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join a growing team delivering work across a long-term 33kV SSE private networks framework.

This isn’t a static role. You’ll typically spend around three months on each project before moving to the next site, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling throughout Scotland. In return, you’ll join a business with a strong pipeline of work, excellent job security and the opportunity to work on major HV infrastructure projects.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of electrical works on substation projects, ensuring work is completed to programme, to specification and in line with all health & safety requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising site teams and subcontractors
  • Coordinating day-to-day site activities
  • Ensuring works are carried out safely and to the required quality standards
  • Conducting site briefings and maintaining health & safety compliance
  • Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers and client representatives
  • Supporting the successful delivery of 11kV and 33kV substation projects

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have experience supervising electrical works within the power or utilities sector and be confident managing teams on live infrastructure projects.

You’ll have:

  • Electrical experience within 11kV or 33kV substations
  • Experience working on SSE or SPEN projects is highly desirable
  • SSSTS qualification (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

The Role
