What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service, Internal Sales or Sales Support role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience using an ERP system.
  • A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.

Desirable

We’re looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for month-end reporting, balance sheet control and maintaining accurate financial records, while supporting continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with P&L and balance sheet analysis.
  • Produce and post journals, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Take ownership of fixed asset accounting, including CapEx, capitalisation, depreciation and disposals.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate accounting for capital expenditure.
  • Manage payroll accounting and operational cost reporting.

The Role:-

If you are proactive and looking to demonstrate your organised Office Management skills this role will allow you to keep the London office running smoothly day to day.

Key responsibilities:-

Office Management

  • Keep the office running smoothly day to day, acting as the first point of contact for all office-related matters

People & Onboarding

  • Coordinate the set-up of new starters – desk, equipment, access, and a smooth first-day experience
  • Work closely with our external IT support company to arrange equipment, logins, and troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues
  • Support with general HR-adjacent office administration as required

Travel booking

  • Book travel for the wider team, including flights, transport (trains/taxis/car hire) and hotels
  • Manage travel logistics to ensure cost-effective, well-organised trips, keeping itineraries and confirmations organised

Presentations & Client support

  • Design and produce high-quality, professional presentations to support client proposals, pitches and business development activities, collaborating closely with the team to develop engaging content and structure.
  • Prepare, coordinate and format Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), tender submissions and supporting documentation, ensuring all information is accurate, compliant and submitted within required deadlines.
  • Create visually engaging presentation materials and bid documents using Canva, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint and other appropriate design software.
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather, review and compile information required for PQQs, tenders and client submissions.
  • Ensure all presentations, PQQs and tender documents are aligned with the Company’s brand guidelines and presented to the highest professional standard.
  • Maintain and update a library of bid content, case studies, templates and marketing collateral to support future submissions and ensure consistency across all client-facing documentation.

Social Media (Temporary – Maternity Cover)

  • Post to the company’s LinkedIn and Instagram pages approximately 1-2 times per week, following the established brand tone, style and content themes
  • This responsibility is temporary and will be handed back once the returning team member is back from maternity leave – full training and a handover guide will be provided

General

  • Provide broad day-to-day support across the office wherever it’s needed – this role covers a wide range of tasks beyond those listed above
  • Proactively identify ways to improve office processes and efficiency

About you

  • Previous experience in an office management, administration, or marketing role.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with external suppliers (IT, travel providers, building management)
  • Competent with presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint & InDesign & Canva) and comfortable putting together professional client-facing materials

Hydraulic Technician

A Hydraulic Technician is needed by a growing engineering company in the Sunderland area to carry out a mixture of workshop and site based service, maintenance and assembly work

Your main responsibilities will be

  • On-site trouble shooting of hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out on site installations and workshop repairs
  • Commissioning, flushing and testing.
  • Preparing site reports.
  • Assembly and functional test power units.
  • On site and workshop pipework.
  • Attend out of hours call-outs.

The ideal candidate will an experienced hydraulic technician with good fault-finding and trouble shooting skills and experience of onsite planned maintenance routines and overhaul of hydraulic components.

The role is for 37.5 hours with additional overtime as customer requirements dictate. Some working away from home is required but for short periods, customer call outs are also part of the job role when required. The role also comes with a company van. The Role
